In addition to the classic studies of -Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Analytical Chemistry, the B.Sc. program requires that the student acquires a solid foundation in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Programming and Biochemistry.

 

The study program leading to the B.Sc. consists of two years of obligatory courses and laboratories, and a third year of mostly elective courses (both oral and lab courses).

 

Chemistry with emphasis on research (Single Major) (0351)

The purpose of this program is to identify and train excellent students who wish, and are able, to be involved in chemical research in the early stage of their undergraduate studies. This program provides the students with comprehensive basic tools in all aspects of chemistry, including a strong background in mathematics and physics, and some knowledge of biochemistry, and exposes them to research activity in the School of Chemistry.

 

Dual degree Program in Materials Science and Engineering and Chemistry (0351-0581)

The purpose of this program is to train future chemistry researchers & materials engineers with good foundations in basic science and with a high-quality scientific vision for wide applications, as required in the modern technological world.

 

Chemistry (Single Major) (0351)

The purpose of this program is to train professional chemists for research, industry, and teaching, and provides the students with comprehensive basic tools in all aspects of chemistry, including a strong background in mathematics and physics, and basic knowledge of statistics, computer science, and biochemistry.

 

Double Major Program – Chemistry and Biology (0351-0455)

This program is designed to train students as experts at the interface between chemistry and biology, primarily in chemical biology, biochemistry and molecular biology.

 

Double Major Program - Chemistry and Physics (0351, 0321)

This program is designed for exceptional students who wish to obtain a broad education both in physics and chemistry.

 

Double Major Program with any department from another Faculty

This program permits multidisciplinary high education.
