The Program for Multilingual Education - 0741

The languages we speak, and those that around us, influence the way we think and communicate, reflecting the rich human diversity around us. At the same time, they also reflect power relations and hierarchies between groups. The Master's Program for Multilingual Education offers a unique opportunity to explore theories, models, and innovative research in areas such as language acquisition and teaching, language assessment, heritage languages, languages in the digital age, language and gender, linguistic landscape, critical pedagogy, and more.

The program focuses on Israel as a dynamic multilingual space, providing tools for critical thinking and activism. It is ideal for those who wish to gain a deep understanding of the experiences of immigrants, refugees, and other minority groups such as Arabs in Israel or asylum seekers, and work toward promoting linguistic justice, social equality, and reducing discrimination and racism.
The program is designed for language teachers, graduates of language-related programs, and professionals from other fields who are involved with language issues.
